State Regent Allen Speaks to Cherokee Outlet DAR about Circle of Care in Alva

On Oct. 11, the Cherokee Outlet Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) met at the Alva Public Library to learn about the Circle of Care foster program in Alva.

Oklahoma State Regent Sue Allen from Woodward told the group about the foster care program, Circle of Care, in Alva. One of the chapter's members, Billie Buckles, and her husband, Bill, donated land on which the Circle of Care home was built. The chapter also learned about the contributions this has made to the community.
