Northwest Technology Center recognized with best places to work award

Representatives from the Oklahoma Journal Record join NWTC staff members Daren Slater, Debra Button, Shaylyn Weder, Melinda Barton, Jeremy Eaton, Colt Shaw and board of education member Randy Reed onstage to accept the Best Places To Work award.

When Shaylyn Weder, IT director at Northwest Technology Center's (NWTC) Alva campus comes into work each morning, she is excited to be there; she even commutes almost an hour to work each morning.

Weder said that she has enjoyed working at NWTC for the past 20 years.

"Northwest Technology Center is a welcoming, friendly environment with a get group of people who make everyone feel like they are a part of the team," she said.
