Harding Women's Basketball Suffers First GAC Loss at Henderson State

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Henderson State had a 30-point second quarter and defeated Harding 84-77 Saturday in Great American Conference women's basketball action at the Duke Wells Center.

Henderson State (7-1, 3-0) ran its winning streak to five games and remained in a first-place tie with Southwestern Oklahoma with the victory, winning its seventh straight home game dating to last season. Harding (6-2, 2-1) had its five-game winning streak snapped and fell a game behind the leaders by one game.
