Waynoka woman injured, pinned after wreck

A Waynoka woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday night in Woods County. Leslie Golbeck, 36, a passenger in the vehicle, was transported by Waynoka EMS to Share Medical Center in Alva. She was transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, where she was admitted in stable condition with head, neck and leg injuries.
The wreck occurred at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on State Highway 14, four miles north of Waynoka. Kurtis Melton, 28, of Waynoka, was driving a 1994 Ford Ranger pickup northbound when he lost control on the ice. The pickup departed the roadway to the east and rolled...
