A Cherokee woman reported a possibly deliberate attempt to collide with her vehicle. On May 9, Meagan Phillips told Cherokee Police Chief Ryan McNeil that the previous day about noon she was traveling east on West Fifth Street approaching Oklahoma Avenue. She said there was a silver four-door car at the stop sign at the intersection. When she started to turn on Oklahoma Ave. to travel north, the silver car sped up, entered her lane and came toward her vehicle before the driver braked, returning to his lane and speeding off.
