When I was a little kid, my parents often had “singings” at our home. Daddy was a talented worship leader and loved to host gatherings where 15 or 20 friends would cram into our living room and sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Of course, there were “finger foods” laid out in the kitchen for break time – we are members of the Church of Christ, after all. Occasionally, friends my age would come along with their parents.
