Cherokee FFA state finalists in livestock handling contest

 


Three Cherokee FFA members will be competing in the State Livestock Handling Finals held during the Tulsa Farm Show Dec. 12-13.

Treavor Green, Riley Hensley and Drake Williams completed a written exam on the OSU campus on July 17 as the first step towards the state finals. The exam consisted of 52 questions over the livestock industry. Each Oklahoma FFA area’s top two chapters qualify for the state finals based on test scores. A total of 10 teams will compete in December.
