Every year the Burlington FFA students do service work for their community during the annual Service with a Splash.

Wyatt Shaw, the new Burlington FFA advisor, split the kids into groups and had them accomplish various tasks around town. Some of the tasks included painting and cleaning the Purple Park, filling sandbags for the fire department to use during flooding, mowing residential and public areas, and weed eating.

Afterwards, the FFA kids were rewarded by eating and swimming at the Garvies' pool, hence the name Service with a Splash.
