A beginners’ crochet lesson is being offered to those interested at Northwestern Oklahoma State University as well as anyone in the community who would like to attend in celebration of “I Love Yarn Day.”

The workshop, sponsored by the NWOSU Art Society, will be led by Dr. Mary Riegel, associate professor of mathematics, and will take place Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Science Amphitheatre on the Alva campus. Cost of the workshop is $5 for materials.
