Act I Theatre-goers will have the opportunity to embrace their inner "elf" as 36 area youth, grades K-12, take center stage to present "Elf Jr., the Musical" Nov. 21, 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. The production is funded in part by the Oklahoma Arts Council.

The musical tells the story of a young orphan who mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts at an orphanage and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is given the name Buddy and raised by Santa's elves. Buddy lives happily unaware that he is a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth....
