Two city department supervisors to be introduced

Monday the Alva City Council is expected to name those to serve on the swimming pool task force. They will also be announcing the new supervisors for the street and sanitation departments. The council will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall.
Instead of hiring one person to replace Benny Perks who retired, the city has decided to split the street and sanitation departments and hire a supervisor for each. Those supervisors will be introduced Monday night.
