Alva High School teacher Nick Bradt was presented with the Arts, Music and Theatre Award at the 5th Annual Citizens Choice Awards Gala Feb. 10. He was ill and unable to attend so his wife Cara accepted on his behalf.
Bradt is a native to Alva and has spent his whole life around the arts. He grew up around his mother's speech and debate team, traveling with the team for contests and one-act trips. He also was very active in band being the first ever three generation Northwestern Oklahoma State band member.
