On Sunday, Feb. 16, the order of services at the Freedom United Methodist Church was:

Prelude by Janell Reutlinger

Acolyte – Jack Wilson. The flag of the United States and the Christian flag were brought in by two of the FFA members. We were privileged to have the Freedom FFA members, Mr. David Turner and Mr. Bryant Weber attending our services.

Invocation by Pastor Todd

Call to Worship: Psalm 1 led by Shirley Wagner

Opening Hymn “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee” led by song leader Debbie Brown

Holy Scripture: 1 Kings 18:20-21 – King Ahab sent word to all the people of Israel and assembled the prophets together on Mount Carmel. Elijah stepped forward before all the people and said, “How long are you going to jump back and forth between two positions? If Adonai is God, follow Him; but if it’s Baal, follow him!” The people answered him not a word.

Services at Freedom UMC – Sunday school/Bible study starts at 10 a.m. Sunday service begins at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Please join us as we worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
