The Waynoka school board met Friday, May 29, for a special meeting to vote on two related agenda items.

• Discussion and vote to set a date, time and place for a hearing, upon receipt of the recommendation for the non-renewal or dismissal of Kristen Harris from employment.

• Consideration and vote to direct the Superintendent to mail a copy of the recommendation to Kristen Harris and to notify Kristen Harris of her right to a hearing and the date, time and place of the hearing.

Harris teaches fifth grade at Waynoka. Previously, she taught fifth-grade science and third grade at Woodward.
