Council to vote on budgets, possibly hire city manager

Budgets and the possible hiring of a city business manager will highlight the agenda of the Alva City Council meeting Monday. The council will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall.
After voting on approval of the consent agenda, the council will hear reports from staff on meetings of city boards and committees. The mayor will give a report followed by the interim city business manager’s report.
Any citizens present may then make remarks or inquiries limited to two minutes per speaker.
