Alva, Freedom Schools receive hotspots

OKLAHOMA CITY – Alva and Freedom are among the 175 Oklahoma school districts awarded mobile internet access and devices through 50,000 Verizon Unlimited 4GE data plans and Jetpacks using a portion of the State Department of Education’s set-aside funds from the CARES Act.
The schools submitted applications for the grant. Alva Public Schools will receive 100 hotspots, and Freedom Public Schools will receive 21....
