William S. Key Correctional Center has 784 inmate cases of COVID-19

Woodward County saw a huge spike in active cases of COVID-19 due to positive tests for a large number of inmates at William S. Key Correctional Center in Ft. Supply. As of Tuesday morning, William S. Key had 784 active cases. According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH), Woodward County has had 970 people test positive with one death and 143 recovered.

Woods County is also affected by 51 active cases at Bill Johnson Correctional Center in Alva. Woods County has had 99 positive cases with 32 recovered.

Alfalfa County has 61 cases with 22 recovered. James Crabtree Correctional Center in Helena has no active inmate cases.

Garfield County shows 1526 cases with 18 deaths and 1180 recovered. Enid Community Corrections has 15 active cases.

In other area counties, Harper County has had 26 cases, one death and 24 recovered. Major County has 80 cases, one death and 61 recovered. Grant County has 40 cases, no deaths and 31 recovered.

The OSDH says as of Tuesday morning, there are 79,072 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma.

There are 14 additional deaths identified to report. Three deaths were identified in the past 24 hours. There are 962 total deaths in the state. There are 628 currently hospitalized.
