Alfalfa County commissioners to purchase air packs for firefighters
September 30, 2020
Commissioners in Alfalfa enjoyed a relatively short agenda Monday morning at their meeting. Jay Hague, Stan Tucker and Marvin Woodall began by approving last week's minutes, payroll warrants, and maintenance and operation warrants for payment.
The men went on to approve the title sheet for county bridge Federal Aid Project No. STP-202C(047)CI Bridge and approach plans for state job #29785(04).
Commissioners took no action on the following line item for a written quote for the courthouse's power washing, tree trimming, and the filling of sand (if tracks are made on courthouse property) from K&J Construction, LLC. The quote wasn't readily available, resulting in the item to be placed on next week's agenda.
Nearing the meeting's end, the three men approved a transfer for Carmen Rescue from a maintenance and operation account no. 13-21-3-8211-2005 to a capital outlay account no. 1321-3-8211-4110 to purchase air packs for firefighters taking Firefighter I training.
Lastly, the report of conference and bridge inspection invoices for all three districts were approved.
