Freedom Town Board approves grant application to replace steel line, border station regulator parts

Freedom's board of trustees met Wednesday, Oct. 14, to handle routine business and review the application for next year's REAP grant. Present were Mayor Shad Brackin and board members Rolando Galindo and Concha Herrera. Also present was Cindy Reed.

REAP grants assist with a municipality's infrastructure. In 2021, Freedom hopes to be awarded funds to replace some steel line in town and replace parts of the regulator at the border station on the north side of town. After examining the application, the board approved it.
