In a year of unexpected events, I don’t think anyone had predicted Oklahoma would be hit by historic ice and snow storms in October. Although the State of Emergency that Gov. Stitt declared includes all the counties in Senate District 27, including Beaver, Cimarron, Dewey, Ellis, Harper, Major, Texas, Woods and Woodward counties, the hardest hit parts of the state were closer to central Oklahoma.
