Airport commission to vote on capital improvement plan

November 8, 2020

The regular meeting of the Alva Airport Commission will be held Monday at 7 p.m. in the airport terminal building. Among the city council reports is a letter from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) accepting the city’s plan to repay funds that were borrowed from the airport account. The airport’s financial statement will also be reviewed.

Airport Manager Derrick Courson will give his report.

Commission members will discuss and vote on approving the FY2022 capital improvement plan. They will review the plan, an email from engineer Toby Baker and the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission project.

There will also be discussion and action on repairs to a fuel pump at the airport.

Commission members will be given time to make remarks or inquiries not related to the agenda. Visitors will also be given an opportunity to address the commission.
