A Goltry woman died in a single vehicle wreck on Wednesday. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Brandy Dawn Anderson, 27, of Goltry, lost control of the 2005 Chevy Silverado she was driving. The vehicle went into a broad slide, overturned and ejected Anderson. The pickup came to rest on top of the driver. She was pinned approximately 20 minutes and freed by Goltry Fire Department.

The wreck occurred at 12:20 a.m. on Bryan Road, 0.75 miles west of State Highway 45 and approximately 2.5 miles south Goltry in Alfalfa County. The cause of the crash was listed as excessive speed for road cond...
