Free movie: `The Grinch' 2018; vendor show, Christmas Cash drawing, lighted parade

Who can resist stopping at this North Pole lighted village for a glimpse of Santa Claus? Rumor has it that elves have been handing out hot cocoa, cookies and cake to elementary children who visit and are mesmerized by the beautiful display along Kiowa's Main Street.

For December the weather prediction for Saturday looks quite mild. Go find some holiday cheer at Christmas in Kiowa. A variety of fun is happening from 1 to 4 p.m. downtown. The Lighted Christmas Parade starts at 6 p.m.

At 12:30, the Christmas Cash drawing will happen live on the Kiowa Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.

The local vendor show is at Kiowa's Community Building from 1 to 4 p.m. This is another opportunity for you to shop locally. Don't forget to visit the downtown merchants who are open Saturday.
