American Legion Post No. 92 from Alva assembled to place a wreath beside the 45th "Thunderbird" Infantry Division Veterans Memorial across from the Alva Post Office. Wreath-laying ceremonies are being held across America to remember, honor and teach about the men and women who fought and died for our freedoms. Veterans interested in joining the American Legion Post No. 92 may attend meetings the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cherokee Strip Museum Annex Building, Alva, or call Donna Perot at 580 824-0944....
