Alva Public Library now has webcams, headphones from grant

The Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL) awarded a $552 grant to the Alva Public Library to purchase five webcams and headphones for use by staff and patrons in the library.
“The past year has provided new challenges and new ways for libraries to meet the needs of the citizens in their communities,” Library Director Sandra Ott said. “This grant provides the technology to help the staff members of the Alva Public Library engage in virtual meetings and training opportunities. Access to this equipment will help the public with business and educational needs.”
