Alva City Council discusses Suddenlink franchise

• Approves rezoning requests

 


There was a lot of discussion about the Suddenlink franchise agreement during Monday’s Alva City Council meeting. During the public comment part of the meeting, Tom Crenshaw started the discussion prematurely, asking when he could talk about the franchise.

Council President Randy Stelling explained there was no vote, only discussion, and it was later on the agenda. Stelling presided over the meeting in the absence of Mayor Kelly Parker who was attending his son’s eighth grade graduation.
