Cherokee DAR May meeting

The Cherokee Outlet Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution held a regular meeting on May 13. Regent Rhodes led the chapter in patriotic exercises.

Marceline Piper led a discussion of V-J Day, the day we celebrate the surrender of Japan ending World War II.

In addition, Regent Rhodes mentioned the winners of the Good Citizen Awards – Madison Rhodes from Freedom, Sagelynn Budy from Waynoka, and Hannah Mason from Alva.
