Cherokee resident charged in recent burglaries

 


The Cherokee Police Department has arrested a suspect in several recent burglaries of vehicles.

Jarred Rashad Munson, 24, of Cherokee, has been charged with first degree burglary in a case where he entered a garage to break into a vehicle. He is also facing two third degree burglary charges for other vehicle break-ins. All three are felony charges.

First degree burglary carries a penalty of imprisonment for seven to 20 years. Third degree burglary is punishable by imprisonment for up to five years.
