Alva School Board to hire several certified, non-certified employees

The Alva Board of Education will discuss and possibly act on hiring three teachers, two counselors and two custodians in the regular meeting Monday. The board will meet at 5 p.m. in the high school library.
The board will also be voting on salary schedules for administrators, teachers, support personnel and extra duty pay.
The superintendent will provide an update on any resignations, retirements and reassignments as well as communications and the strategic plan.
