Local blood drives will be held in the Alva community during the month of August. Locations are as follows:
• Alva community – Extreme, Aug. 6, noon to 6 p.m.
• Alva First United Methodist Church – Bloodmobile, Aug. 10, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
• Value Added Products – Bloodmobile, Aug. 10, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Northwest Technology Center – Multipurpose room, Aug. 18, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• First Christian Church – Bloodmobile, Aug. 22, 9:20 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
