A presentation of the Kids & Cops Retired Chief Gary Sanderson Scholarship will be held during the Alva City Council meeting Monday. The regular meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers.
Council members will consider and vote on Ordinance No. 2021-002 naming the joint increment (TIF) district as District Number One, City of Alva and Woods County. Approved in 2018 the district has remained dormant until now. This action by the council names the district and sets the start date for the increment district.
