Alfalfa County commissioners hire Karen Parker for head janitorial and maintenance position

Commissioners in Alfalfa County convened a brief executive session Monday morning to discuss employment for a head janitorial/maintenance position. After reconvening, Marvin Woodall, Jay Hague and Mike Roach announced the hiring of Karen Parker. She is due to start at the first of the year. In the interim, before the hiring of Parker, county employee Jennifer Hensley cleaned the courthouse and got high praise from County Clerk Laneta Schwerdtfeger and other Alfalfa County officers.
