Burn ban still intact in Alfalfa County

The Alfalfa County commissioners Marvin Woodall, Jay Hague and Mike Roach voted again to set a countywide burn ban, this time instating it for 14 days from their meeting date (Dec 20).
Exceptions to the burn ban include road construction projects, welding, cutting torch, grinding activities, campfires, and outdoor cooking.
Six-month bids were awarded next, but the process was unlike previous meetings. Many vendors cannot honor bid prices because of supply issues. The commissioners based their decisions on price and availability. Many bids will probably have to be done over the phone, as things...
