Woods County Commissioners sign paychecks in routine meeting

The Woods County Commissioners spent much of Monday’s meeting signing paperwork and payroll checks. Chairman Randy McMurphy opened the meeting with David Hamil and John Smiley present.
The following monthly reports for the sheriff’s department were approved: Sheriff’s Collections $2,195.00 and Board of Prisoners Expenses $6,149.99
A temporary easement was approved with Rick Dietz for gravel at $1.00 per yard. Smiley said it is good shale rather than ordinary gravel.
