Burlington man charged in theft of power tools, ice chest

A Burlington man has been charged with burglary after he allegedly removed power tools and a cooler of beer from a pickup.

According to court records, about 2 p.m. on Aug. 20 Stetson Vore called the Woods County Sheriff’s Office to report the theft from an employee, identified as James Dean. Vore said the theft occurred on a property north of Alva on County Road 400 where he had a crew working. He said the theft occurred about a half hour earlier.
