Genealogy society learns about Cedar Grove at September meeting

NWOGS held its September meeting at the Cedar Grove Chapel at the Cherokee Strip Museum. Barbara Hada Faulkner, Warren Little and Pastor Nathan Hosier presented a panel discussion.
Barbara Hada Faulkner talked to the group about what it was like growing up in the Cedar Grove Church during the 1950 – particularly Sunday school. Sometimes there might be as many as 20 teens in a class! The church was active – it had a choir so big (The Livewire Choir) that the pastor created a youth choir that sat front stage.
