Dacoma Fire Department applying for REAP grant

The Woods County commissioners had a very short agenda for the Monday, Oct. 24, meeting. Commissioners Randy McMurphy and John Smiley were present while David Hamil was absent.
The commissioners approved a REAP Grant application for the Dacoma Fire Department for $75,000. If granted, the fire department would use the funds to build a 50 by 40 foot metal building connected to their current building. The total for the project is estimated at $120,750 with the remaining $45,750 to come from other sources.
