I was sitting in my recliner Saturday evening, listening to worship music on YouTube and cramming like I was still in college, trying to get ready for Sunday school, when one sentence in the study guide caught my eye.

We were studying John 7:14-29 and they were talking about Jesus teaching in the temple during the festival of booths and this is the sentence that got my attention. “The people of Jerusalem were evaluating Jesus’s teaching, especially His authority. In the process, they were confronted with their own hypocrisy and lack of power.”
