Alva tourism tax funding requested for five events

The City of Alva Tourism and Convention Development Committee has a full agenda for the regular meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 15. The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. There are five requests for funding slated for consideration.
The first order of business will be to appoint a new chairperson for the committee following the resignation of Norville Ritter. After voting on approval of the September minutes, the committee will discuss and act on financial reports for the months from September through January.
