Burlington freshman, Chloe Jantz, pulls a kindness act from the Random Acts of Kindness box during National Random Acts of Kindness Week.

Burlington School counselor Gayle McNett chose to put a random act of kindness box in the main hallway of Burlington School for National Kindness Week. Inside the box are little notes that offer things you can do to show kindness around the school and around town. This helps the students learn respect for others and to have a positive attitude at school. Some of the notes might say something like "Give a younger student a compliment," or "Shovel your neighbor's snow or rake your neighbor's leaves."
