The community is invited to attend “An Evening With Jesus Christ: A Musical Tribute to our Savior.”
The free event will be at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building, 1467 Thunderbird Road (next to the Alva Rec Center).
Musical numbers in the hour-long program will be performed by a number of people familiar to the community: Dr. Karsten Longhurst, choral director at Northwestern Oklahoma State University; Dr. Michael Black, band director at NWOSU; Emily Smith, a vocal education major at NWOSU and the reigning Miss Northwestern; Jerrilyn...
