Helping Hearts and Hands, a program of The Little Red Hens, hosted an Autism Acceptance walk during the Autism Awareness month of April. It was free to walk in the walk but donations were accepted with the proceeds going to purchase items for the Alva Public Schools special education classrooms. Through the donations everything on the list was able to be purchased and were sent to Mrs. Lovelace for distribution.
