Charges filed in stabbing at JCCC

An inmate has been charged with stabbing another inmate nine or ten times in September 2022 at James Crabtree Correctional Center (JCCC) in Helena. Cody Grant Williams, 36, is charged in Alfalfa County with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a felony. This crime is punishable by imprisonment for up to 10 years in the penitentiary or one year in the county jail.
