Quiet week for Alfalfa County commissioners

It was a relatively short meeting for officials in Alfalfa County, as Nate Ross and Mike Roach handled the business while Garret Johnson was away.

The two commissioners signed an agreement between Alfalfa County and Woods County for maintaining the 911 address and charges for its service.

Several of the agenda items were routine, including declarations of surplus. There were two leather guest chairs (Inv. No. SL 102-100.15, no serial number, and Inv. No. SL 102-100.16, no serial number) from the Election Board, and two E911 radios: Radio Position 1, Inv. No. R218.100.04, Serial no. 00186217404615), and Radio Position 2, Inv. No. R218.100.03, Serial No. 00186209419567. The commissioners declared a surplus on all those items and disposal resolutions for the radios. They then signed a transfer document on the leather guest chairs for those to go to the District 2 barn.

Next up was a private property access easement. It was in District 3 for the NW ¼ of 25-24-11 for tree removal, followed by a material request for District 3 and the contract with Endex for the fairground's fire alarms.

Last was a transfer of appropriations for Fairgrounds M&O account 1310-4-8048-2005 to Fairgrounds Personal Services account 1310-4-8048-1110 for funds for salaries for the fiscal year.
