Short meeting for two Alfalfa County commissioners

Nate Ross and Garrett Johnson were without their fellow Alfalfa County commissioner Monday during the weekly meeting. After the two finished approving and signing the usual orders of business, they took no action on opening and awarding surplus bids on two 500-gallon fuel tanks for District 1 (Inv. No. DI 413.101 and DI 413.105) because no bids were submitted. They will put the matter on the next agenda to vote, sending the tanks to auction.

Ross and Johnson went on to sign the bridge inspection invoice and report of conference for all three districts, followed by the financial statement of the county treasurer for the 22-23 fiscal year.

Next, the commissioners signed two declarations of surplus. One was for a golf cart from the fairgrounds (Inv. no. FB 358 100, no serial number), and the other was on a two-row counter type roller from the county clerk's office (Inv. No. F 112-100.01, no serial number).

They then approved resolutions for the disposal of those pieces of equipment. On the final agenda item, E-911 bylaws, the two men decided again to wait for Mike Roach to return before they discuss it.
