Mark Scott Sturgeon was the youngest son born to Lawrence Rockwell “Swede” Sturgeon and J. Elaine Lamle Sturgeon on January 31, 1957, in Enid, Oklahoma. Mark went to be with the Lord and his loved ones who had passed on before August 10, 2023.

Mark grew up with his family on the farm near Helena, Oklahoma. Growing up he had fun playing with his brothers and cousins, but many of his favorite adventures were with his best friends, Delbert Hill and Kirk Hungerford.
