On Aug. 18, Alva FFA and 4-H livestock judging teams attended the Kansas Interstate Fair Livestock Judging Contest in Coffeyville, Kansas. The Senior FFA Livestock judging team placed fifth overall. The intermediate team placed first. Allison Blocker placed first overall intermediate individual. Larson Mantz placed third individually in the junior division.
On Aug. 22, Alva FFA held the Annual FFA Ice Cream Social at Hatfield Park. Members of FFA, 4-H and Cloverbuds joined in for an evening of ice cream, games and friends....
