It was a cool morning with a light breeze that made perfect conditions for Kiowa's 38th Annual Labor Day 5K Race Monday. Race co-directors Teresa MacKinney and Gayle McNett said they had 201 entries and 196 finishers.
This year marked a first as the co-directors made a huge upgrade to take the race online with registration, results and more. They said the transition went very smoothly. The finish line had an electronic sign that showed runners' exact finish time.
