Crabtree inmate charged with manslaughter

An inmate at James Crabtree Correctional Center (JCCC) has been charged with first degree manslaughter in the unattended death of another inmate. On Aug. 30 in Alfalfa County, Regionald V. Talbert, 39, was charged with manslaughter – first degree, a felony. Because Talbert previously has been convicted of two or more felonies, the punishment for this charge is imprisonment of 20 years to life.

According to court records, on Dec. 10, 2022, Robert Foust with the Department of Corrections was dispatched to JCCC in Helena to investigate an unattended death. The victim was Mikell Price who was foun...
