Students, staff members and community members gather at Burlington's "See you at the Pole" event on Sept. 27.

See you at the pole began in 1990 in Burleson, Texas, when a group of teenagers gathered to pray for several hours at their school.Burlington FCA sponsored See you at the Pole on Wednesday, September 27. Students and staff gathered for worship and prayer at the flag pole, along with many community members. The theme this year was "wholehearted." As a student-initiated, student organized and student-led event, the FCA officers planned and led the event, and sold 65 T-shirts to wear at the long celebrated Burlington event. FCA members led singing of songs and staff and community members prayed with the kids before school. Burlington Church of Christ kindly donated 12 dozen donuts for attendees.
